Whimsical Moss & Mushroom Party

This dreamy little brunch that I put together for my friends was so fun to plan and carry out. The mossy centerpiece and button mushrooms add just the right amount of whimsy. I created pattern paper backed plates and some delectable dishes. I’ll be posting some tutorials and recipes this week! But for now, feel free to peruse the cuteness…including my Ameracauna chick Pearl (who we later discovered was Earl – the rooster)!

Caroline’s Berry Pavlova Recipe

This is one of my pretty little ladies…her name is Pearl and she is an Ameraucana. We just got baby chicks on Thursday, and now they are about a week old. We felt that Pearl would make a cute addition to the decor for a few minutes, so Danielle snaped a few photos of her as well. ūüôā So adorable and sweet…and growing so fast!

 Have a lovely day!

Strawberry Lemon Baby Shower

Our dear friend Courtnay is moving away¬†and¬†having a baby! An occasion of mixed joy and sadness…but either way a perfect occasion for a cute party. I decided to go with Lemon and Strawberries as a theme. I picked organic strawberries near the ocean (most beautiful strawberry picking EVER) with a friend and made twelve lovely jars of strawberry jam as cute favors. We had a photo booth area set up with vintage hats, gloves, and frames, and had lots of fun taking pictures while the light was escaping the ¬†summer sky. Here are some photos of this lovely event and my lovely friend!

Missing you Courtnay!

Lavender & Lace Spring Brunch

My friend¬†Danielle¬†wanted to throw a photographer’s brunch and asked me if I would like to decorate for the event. The theme was Lavender & Lace. Would I? Um, yes please!¬†I even made cute little nest favors out of vintage sheet music and peat pots. I love the vibrance of the purples, contrasted with the frilly lace and rough texture of the burlap. Delightful.¬†Between her amazing cooking abilities and my vintage lovelies and decorating skills we pulled off a pretty little event!
